Perth house prices predicted to record highs, according to forecast by Domain.

So this is today's West Australian headline, is this true or just clickbait?

My company Contessi Properties sells properties all over Perth, from City Beach to Aveley, Stirling to Ellenbrook, so we have a complete overview of every market from million dollar mansions to $300,000 investment properties.

In my opinion the Perth property prices have no choice but to go up. Demand is ever increasing and supply is desperately low, it is just basic supply and demand.

The issue with these headlines is, it slows down homeowners decision making whilst they wait for the "top-of-the-market" unicorn, which as we all know is impossible to predict.

If waiting around for the top of the market is a sellers game, then they also risk being exposed to world-wide events - war, banking crisis, political change.

My advice is to sell when you need to, don't wait for someone or something to determine when you make your life decisions. Markets go up, down and sideways, and in most cases it is random, and just like a balloon in the wind, it could fly away never to be seen, just like your opportunity to sell in a strong market.
